Video Sketching #1
To practice enactment in comming up with design ideas we had to do a video.
Unfortunately we misunderstood the assignment a bit (as did everyone else) and did a manuscripted performance.
The theme of the assingment is “TwitterIdo” – basically it’s where your things twitter for you. Like say you made a cup of coffee, instead of sitting down somewhere to write down the tweet, you’d simply let the coffee machine do it for you. Like “Sara is making coffee”.
Anyway, this is the idea of a sound-necklace. It tweets what music you are listening (it recognizes the songs) and your location to your friends. So you don’t have to text them when you’re at a concert. Then they can just come right over.
I know this isn’t a brialliant idea, it’s got some good qualities, but in reality it’s pretty useless. Also, we were told that we didn’t exactly had to invent the wheel on this one.
